When I’m not obsessing about baby making, I’m writing prose. Finally, some of my hard work has paid off in the form of a PUBLISHED NON-FICTION BOOK!

Several months ago, I answered an ad calling for submissions to a book called Diploma Diaries. This anthology of advice-driven essays covers post-college topics from negotiating a salary to staying safe in the city (those are the two essays I contributed at least!). In my essays, I turn some of my zany misadventures into useful tips, tips I wish someone had told me when I was a careless, and sometimes downright stupid, twenty something (because of course I’ve got it all figured out now at 32). This book will make a GREAT graduation gift if you know any young ladies about to matriculate. I never thought I’d have the opportunity to tell the world about the time I chased  my sexual assailant (a stranger pinched my ass and pushed me) for three blocks, while brandishing a yoga mat and threatening to kick his ass. But here it is. If you want to save your younger sister, niece, daughter, or friend from making idiotic mistakes like that one (who in their right mind chases an ass grabber?), here’s a link to the book: U Chic’s Diploma Diaries: The Chic Grad’s Guide To Work, Love, and Everything In Between.
